Guidelines for Poster Presentation (Full Paper)

  • Poster Size & Format:
    • Size: 2.75 feet (width) × 4 feet (height) ≈ 33 in × 48 in.
    • Orientation: Portrait only.
    • Posters must be printed and brought by presenters (conference will not provide printing).
    • Layout should be clean, professional, and visually engaging.
  • Poster Content:
    • Title – Same as submitted paper, bold and large, top of poster.
    • Author(s) & Affiliation(s) – Immediately under the title.
    • Introduction / Background
    • Research Problem & Objectives
    • Methodology
    • Results / Key Findings – with graphs, tables, or visuals.
    • Discussion & Implications
    • Conclusion & Future Directions
    • Acknowledgements & References (if needed, concise).
  • Design Guidelines:
    • Title: ~72 pt (readable from 6–8 ft away).
    • Section Headings: 36–48 pt.
    • Body Text: 24–32 pt.
    • Fonts: Use Arial, Calibri, or Times New Roman.
    • Colors: Dark text on light background (high contrast). Avoid flashy colors.
    • Balance: ~40% text, ~60% visuals.
    • Visuals: Prefer diagrams, figures, and charts over large text blocks.
  • Presentation & Setup:
    • Posters must be mounted at least 30 minutes before the session starts.
    • Poster boards and adhesive materials will be available at the venue.
    • At least one author must be present near the poster during the session.
    • Be ready with a 2–3 minute verbal summary for visitors.
  • Professionalism:
    • Formal dress code is recommended.
    • Engage visitors respectfully and confidently.
    • Answer questions clearly and concisely.
  • Evaluation (Best Poster Award):
    • Content clarity and research quality.
    • Poster design & readability.
    • Quality of discussion with viewers.
